The Friends of Alpha is a group committed to helping raise money for Alpha. We have two fundraisers annually, an Easter basket raffle, and a tailgate party in October. We welcome donations of all kinds: time, money, services, products, and, especially, fun ideas and friendly faces at our monthly planning meetings! The Friends of Alpha committee meets on the last Thursday of the month at 4:00 pm in the Alpha board room. To join our efforts or make a donation call (740) 368-5810.

The Third Annual Alpha Tailgate Fundraiser was a success! The 2008 Tailgate party helped raise money for the purchase of a (much needed) new truck for the Alpha Office and Lawn Services Department's Mobile Work Crew. Tailgaters were treated to some great food catered by Smokey Bones, games, music by Hypersounds, and a 50/50 raffle. There was also a silent auction featuring some wonderful athletic memorabilia, like a Jim Tressel-signed football and a framed photograph of an OSU/OWU game. The Fundraiser was attended by Alpha employees, members of the OWU football team, community members, local political figures, and friends and family. We at Alpha appreciate the support Alpha has received. Thank you all so much for your help!
