This is a service that provides real work, training, and assessment in the workplace. Vocational Try-Outs are customized, community-based assessments designed to give a person an opportunity to explore vocational options/interests in several job areas. A Job Developer and a trained Job Coach will provide this service.
Ergon Employment Solutions' Vocational Try-Out Service is custom designed for people transitioning from: school, unemployment, sheltered employment, or limited work experience.
Training & Assessment:
A professional Job Developer will be the guide through choosing where, when, and what to do for each try-out and will schedule the try-out with the employer.
A certified Job Coach will provide the training and assessment at the workplace.
All participants are paid the current minimum hourly wage.
