Alpha Community Experience (ACE)

This program is designed so individuals can experience various jobs to find out what best suits their unique skills, abilities and interests. After meeting and talking with the individual, The Alpha team will create a custom designed work plan that transitions the individuals from school, unemployment, sheltered employment or limited work experience.
 Seth, Lead ACE Job Coach
“Job retention was a challenge...but upon coming to Alpha they took the time to listen, and now I am  happy in my new job.”

Greg McNamara, 2015 ACE Graduate
“Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center loves working with The Alpha Group of Delaware County. The Community Services Group and the ACE program has revived a great facet of our environment here on property and our employees are so proud to be partnering with such a great company. Elliott, Christina, Seth and the remaining Alpha employees have given us great guidance and support from the very beginning and we anticipate a long long relationship with this group that has once again become part of the NHCC family.
 Thanks again Alpha!”

 Missy Thompson, Human Resource Manager

The Alpha team member will work one-on-one to contact employers and walk through all parts of the employment process from interview to job negotiations.

After hire, a professional job coach will continue to support both the individual and the employer ensuring a successful transition to the work place.

NEW! Westerville Location
Integrated Adult Day & Community Employment

The Alpha Group opened its newest location in Westerville in July 2016. Partnerships with CVS and Plato's closet bring a work training element to their day. Our Integrated Day Program is very active volunteering in the local Westerville Community at locations such as W.A.R.M., Westerville Senior Center and Habitat for Humanity ReStore.  In addition, to enhance the already busy week, portions of the day bring a fun aspect with activities such as bowling, exploring local parks and educational field trips.
